Sarah Harper
Good Sense Communications was founded by Sarah Harper, a former journalist and editor with 15+ years experience at the heart of national newsrooms.
Sarah led commercial news operations as Editor at ITN, following years of producing high-stakes news coverage for ITV News and Sky News. She brings an insider’s understanding of how global stories are built, what makes a narrative newsworthy and how the right communications can shift policy.
She left the newsroom to lead the communications function at Airfinity, a health data company that became the world’s go-to independent data source during the COVID pandemic. There, she delivered a front page FT exclusive that changed NICE policy on patient access, worked with former Prime Minister Gordon Brown on vaccine equity, and produced analysis used by the White House during the China COVID outbreak.
That experience, at the intersection of health, data and media, is what she now brings to clients as a fractional communications leader and trusted sounding board.
